Indiana Live! Casino in Shelbyville, Indiana, located at Indiana Downs, is currently seeking a professional and motivated Internal Auditor to be located at its Indiana casino property. Exciting opportunities exist for a self-motivated professional. Position reports to the Vice President of Internal Audit & Compliance. Job duties include the ability to determine direction and emphasis of proposed auditing efforts, assisting in the planning of theory/scope of the audits, recommending changes to audit programs, and the performance of independent evaluations of the internal control system in order to meet the departmental audit plans. Concentration of audit work is in areas of gaming compliance, financial and operational requirements. Position requires the effective management of duties in order to meet strict reporting guidelines. Responsible for professional oral and written presentations to Regulators, Corporate, and Management teams in the performance of the duties, and must achieve a thorough knowledge of local gaming regulations, internal controls, and policies and procedures relative to the property.
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
- Four year college degree preferred, business related with a focus in Accounting a plus
- CPA, CIA or CMA preferred
- Prior Internal Audit or Public Accounting experience preferred
- Ability to be approved for and maintain required regulatory licensing
