The Slot Manager will manage and provide training, technical direction and guidance to the Slot Technicians - including installing, servicing, adjusting and repairing slot machines and related equipment. In addition, the incumbent in this position is responsible to promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Company policies, practices and procedures.
Specific Job Functions
• Manage and provide training, technical direction and guidance to the Slot Technicians - including installing, servicing, adjusting and repairing slot machines and related equipment
• Responsible for the ordering of parts, supplies, forms, tools, and other required equipment for the efficient operation of the department.
• Maintain all necessary and required inventory sheets, reports, and appraisals as directed.
• Complete performance appraisals in an accurate and timely manner.
• Train and coordinate staff to ensure compliance on all related policies.
• Prepare work schedules and special details pertaining to shift and maintain payroll records.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels, by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting and disciplining security personnel, as needed.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
• At least 4 years of recent and related experience installing, servicing, adjusting and repairing slot product in the gaming industry – At least 2 years in a management capacity.
• Demonstrated experience providing training, technical direction and guidance.
• Must have in depth knowledge of the configuration and setup of gaming equipment.
• Must be mechanically inclined with knowledge of hand tools with recent slot machine repair and installation experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years or older.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to Company standards.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
