The Surveillance Manager is directly responsible for supervising all surveillance personnel and oversees the Surveillance department by reviewing the activities of Surveillance personnel and analyzing the reports to ensure an effective and efficient department. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Company policies, practices and procedures.
Specific Job Functions
• Analyzes data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls, fraud or lack of compliance with laws, government regulations and policies and procedures.
• Constantly conducts special studies such as those required to discover possible fraud and to develop controls for preventing fraud.
• Ensures compliance with gaming requirements set by state gaming authority and local law enforcement.
• Directs and implements training for staff to ensure up to date knowledge of all house games.
• Ensures confidentiality of information regarding reports, investigations, and suspicious activities of team members and or guests.
• Ensures staff has tools and knowledge to identify possible or known cheats, thieves or other individuals who may endanger company assets.
• Ensures staff has knowledge of, and adhere to, regulatory, departmental, and casino policy and procedures.
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluating of all individuals in the Surveillance department.
• Follow all established uniform guidelines and appearance standards.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in casino surveillance.
• Knowledge of casino games and operations.
• Knowledge of surveillance equipment, functions and maintenance.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to write detailed and accurate reports.
• Good eye-to-hand coordination.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to Company standards.
• 21 years or older.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
