Job Overview:
The Game Performance Manager will directly oversee the machine repair and performance operation on a 24 hour basis. The Manager will also supervise all machine repair personnel, ensuring all activities and job duties are performed according to company, departmental, and federal policies, procedures and goals. The Game Performance Manager will have responsibility that encompasses customer service, team relations and profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages and aides in troubleshooting and repair of money kiosk machines
- Removes, moves, installs and/or upgrades slot machines around performance standards
- Responsible for keeping inventory of parts and tools necessary for the efficient repair and slot machines at all times
- Assists customers with change or game instructions as requested
- Monitors and tracks the slot machine malfunctions, the cause and the parts involved to repair gaming machine
- Tracks and records all usage and testing for card reader accuracy and point accumulation totals
- Complies with internal controls, policies and procedures as they pertain to this position
- Provides analysis of slot operations and the floor to improve revenue and profit levels
- Investigates daily machine variance issues and provides explanations to such instances
- Manages the preparation of staffing schedules for Department personnel that will assure that guest service needs and labor budgets are met
- Reviews daily and monthly systems & financial reports and investigates unusual game statistical fluctuations including unusual actual versus theoretical variations in coin in, win percentages, and drop. Provides written reports to management that explains the fluctuations
- Manages excellent relationships with vendors and remains informed of game and related product performance
- Develops, manages and administers slot technical training on bill acceptors, monitors, card readers and other machine components
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures regulating gaming principals including Tribal, federal, and applicable state law requirements
- Must possess willingness to travel as needed
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business related or Information Technology (IT) related field and or 5 or more years verifiable qualifiable management employment experience or a combination education and employment experience required
- Minimum of five years experience working with a minimum on 1200 Class II electronic bingo machines involving technical repairs, machine analysis and performance required
- Extensive coaching skills in all aspects of Class II or III gaming operations with proven ability to develop and inspire the capabilities of employees required
- Five years experience in determining and designing floor layouts and game mix required
- Knowledge of electronically mechanical troubleshooting methods and techniques
- Five years experience dealing with outside vendors involving game lease and purchase negotiations
- Ability to keep abreast of the fast changing pace of the Class II gaming industry
- Must possess a high level of maturity with leadership qualities and management capabilities
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- A PCI Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) is required for this position
- Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
