Human Resources Director
Acoma Business Enterprises is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Human Resources Director.
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Human Resource Director coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff. The Human Resource Director reports to the CEO and serves on the executive management team; and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues. Attendance may be required at Tribal Council meetings and Acoma Community General meetings. The major areas directed are included but are not limited to:
· Recruiting and staffing;
· Organizational planning and development;
· Performance management and improvement systems;
· Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns;
· Employee orientation, development, and training;
· Policy development and documentation;
- Budget
· Employee relations;
· Compensation and benefits administration;
· Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health;
· Employee and community communication;
The ideal candidate must be able of obtain an Acoma Gaming License, will possess an undergraduate degree in Business with a focus on Human Resources or equivalent, strong ability to perform well and be unfailingly diplomatic in a high pressure and complex environment, a Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development, excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to envision and deliver innovative solutions, and Proven analytical, planning, and organizing skills.
