Marketing Representative
Position Summary
The Marketing Services Coordinator is responsible for administering all activities related to marketing programs funded by VGT for Native American Tribes, Charitable Organizations, Commercial Casinos, and Racinos. Marketing Coordinators are expected to adhere to budget and spending requirements as part of our lease agreements with each casino. Marketing Services Coordinators will customize special events, promotions, and other marketing tactics, to deliver the best marketing services that VGT can offer. The development and implementation of the programs, the management of staff and logistics involved with rolling out all aspects of the program, as well as the post analysis of each activity rest on the shoulders of this position. VGT Marketing Services Coordinators are constantly active in the field acting as ambassadors, marketing implementers, and captains of fun. This position reports to the designated Regional Marketing Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct pre-planning meetings with internal resources and external customers to develop promotional strategies, tactics, calendar, budgets, staff training, and utilization of outside vendors for actors, signage, giveaways, and media support including direct mail.
• Manage internal and external associates in the administration and coordination of all promotion-related logistics including development of proposals, rules, prize structures, schedule, props, signage, and character actors. Direct promotional budgets and customer relationships.
• Manage promotional inventory including sets, props, costumes, promotional giveaways, and vehicle fleet.
• Manage the budget of all marketing promotions with special attention to prize budgets, promotional giveaways, promotional signage, and promotion support media.
• Identify optimal, cost effective use of marketing promotion investments to insure greatest increases in WPUPD ROI.
• Provide analytical thinking and written summaries evaluating promotional current practices and SWOT analysis to create promotional best practices.
• Manage support staff.
• Manage vendors and vendor contracts.
• Assess need for additional client reinvestment.
• Direct client to better use VGT internal resources.
• Escalate VGT performance issues to supervisor.
• Compile all pro and post formas related to promotional activities
• Maintain regularly scheduled communication with appropriate client contacts.

Education, Training and Experience
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Business preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years experience managing marketing promotions, special events, sales promotions, marketing communications, and consumer contests programs or programs equivalent in nature and complexity in the advertising and marketing fields.
• Familiarity with BINGO, Class II & III Slots, charity and Racino environments.
• Experienced in setting and adhering to budgets.
• Must be able to obtain a gaming license, if required, to work with various casino locations and tribes.
• Must be able to travel 75% of the time.
• Must have PC skills including familiarity with Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Must have and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle report.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be sitting, standing, and walking. Approximately 25% of the time is spent seated while working at a desk or in a meeting. Balance of time is spent standing or moving between work areas while performing other job duties: traveling and at client sites.
The associate must be able to lift and move 50 pounds short distances with or without a mechanical aid.
The associate must be able to Speak/Hear. Clear dictation and accurate hearing are necessary for effective communication with associates, co-workers and clients. (Cultural and/or regional accents are acceptable.) Corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary for automobile and other travel responsibilities associated with this position.
The associate should be able to retrieve work and appropriate reports, paperwork, tools, and supplies as necessary.
Work Environment
Work and office area is primarily a climate controlled environment. While performing duties outside the normal responsibilities of the position, the employee may be exposed to a smoking environment with noise levels ranging from quiet to loud. The associate may also be exposed to adverse weather conditions. Working conditions may also occasionally consist of moving and working around customers of casinos.
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Education, Training and Experience
