Essential Duties AND Responsibilities:

• Tests, troubleshoots, adjusts, calibrates, and maintains equipment • Ensures games pay correctly under all test conditions; reports all information correctly to the operating system • Operates simulators, emulators and measuring devices, logic analyzers, and related equipment • Conducts tests and reports data in a prescribed format using automated and manual methods • Uses predetermined methods, sequences, and sets up test of specific percentage game • Performs calibrations and alignment checks of test equipment needed for software testing • Creates test plans for existing and new products • Conducts automated manual test and creates requirements for automated test stations • Creates automated test scripts for regression tests • Evaluates manual tests and assists Engineer in automating tests • Creates automated test station requirements

Training AND/OR Experience:

• Minimum of four years working with or testing gaming devices or similar machines or similar work experience • Casino or gaming background preferred

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Must be PC literate • Binary arithmetic, octal arithmetic, hex arithmetic • Experience with storage media • Knowledge of electronic theory, principle, and procedures • Knowledge of computer hardware and software • Experience with firmware and programmable logic devices • Knowledge in automated test equipment and techniques • Expertise in test plan and procedure creation • Expertise in computer hardware design • Good communication and documentation skills • Mechanically inclined • Self-motivated • Ability to lead a project group

Education:

• College degree or equivalent experience
