SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring maximum customer service and satisfaction, by orchestrating, through Restaurant and Beverage Assistant Managers, production of quality food and beverages and high standards of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Enforces performance standards, policies, and procedures within the department.
- Responsible for complying with all food and beverage health, liquor and safety regulations, as well as all federal, state and local applicable laws.
- Responsible for the coaching, evaluating and training of Assistant Managers in compliance with all customers service standards.
- Ensures Food and Beverage operations are run in a smooth, efficient manner to ensure customers satisfaction.
- Reviews and approves all recommendations and suggestions to hire, transfer, suspend, promote, discharge, evaluate, assign and discipline all venue employees in a fair and equitable manner.
- Maximizes cost effectiveness within the department, by ensuring compliance with established budget, labor and revenue benchmarks.
- Responsible for listening to, evaluating and assuring control of customer grievances.
- Monitors job performances of all Restaurant employees and provides feedback on same to aid the employees in developing and enhancing skills.
- Confers with Director Food and Beverage concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention.
- Sets priorities for all supervisors and provides assistance as needed.
- Other duties assigned.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Restaurant Management preferred. Three to four years restaurant manager experience required.
