POSITION TITLE – Slot Technician
1. FUNCTION
The Slot Technician is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and monitoring the operation of assigned electronic gaming devices. Participates in movement of any slot related equipment.
2. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Repair and maintain slot related equipment on the casino floor.
B. Repair and maintain slot related equipment in the slot shop.
C. Participate in installation, movement, and removal of slot related equipment.
D. Maintain proper gaming logs in order to comply with state or internal regulations.
E. Ensure the safety and security of all guest and employees.
F. Other duties as assigned.
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
3. STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
A. Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
B. Knowledge of state gaming laws and regulations.
C. Fundamental oral and written communication skills.
D. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, IGT ABS and IGT SAMS Slot System.
4. EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
A. A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Two-year Electronic Degree is preferred or equivalent experience in electrical maintenance.
B. Valid gaming license.
5. AUTHORIZED ACCESS AREAS
Access to slot floor, slot tech shop, slot storage areas, CVT rooms and IDF rooms.
6. AUTHORIZED KEY ACCESS
Machine door keys, Belly glass keys, emergency drop keys, slot storage area access keys.
7. PROPOSED LICENSED LEVEL
Professional Occupational
8. PROJECTED NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES IN POSITION
Three – Twelve (3-12)
Able to attain Florida Gaming License.
