SUMMARY:
Perform routine general maintenance and repair functions within approved guidelines and as directed. Employee may achieve this level based on the successful completion of accredited courses resulting in a commercial and/or professional certification in any skill trade unit such as Waste Water, HVACR, Electrical, Carpentry, Commercial Painter or Plumber. Has knowledge of common and advanced concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
* Responsible for routine general maintenance and repair (painting , drywall installation/repair, carpentry, grounds work, irrigation systems, flooring, concrete, lighting and basic electrician) as directed by immediate supervisor.
* Ensure adherence to all OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures.
* Operates company vehicles as required.
* Conduct routine preventive maintenance on all equipment as assigned.
* Supports other Engineers as needed.
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma GED required. Technically Certified in a field such as Waste Water, HVACR, Electrical, Carpentry, Commercial Painting or Plumbing.
Strong mechanical/electrical skills and must be able to read blueprints. Must be certified and possess one or more years of verifiable commercial experience in the field or in a related area.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure and technical manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and radiation. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to extreme heat.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor or mechanical rooms, the noise level increases to loud.
Employee will be working in a smoking environment.
