DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Slot Technician essential duties & responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
Analyzes and repairs any electronic related casino equipment...Slot Machines, Signs, Programming, Bill Validation, Ticket Printers, etc to the satisfaction of the Slot Manager. Must have knowledge of the configuration and setup of gaming equipment. Troubleshooting in shop and out in the field is a necessity.
Safeguards all assigned assets.
Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with employees, customers, and vendors
Assist with machine moves, conversions, and installation of equipment.
Travel is required--both domestic and international--possibly for long periods of time.
QUALIFICATIONS:

GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Applicant must have prior experience and/or training in the required areas of duties and responsibilities. Experience with Ainsworth, Aristocrat, Atronic, Bally, IGT, Konami, and Williams is a plus. Applican MUST HAVE knowledge of Ticket In/Ticket Out Systems. Knowledge of test equipment, and programmers is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and analyze. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, customers, and vendors. Bi-Lingual is a plus.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to troubleshoot in the shop and on job location.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with our without reasonable accommodations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, climb, crawl, balance, stoop, and kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
