Summary

Provide consistent high quality food and beverage service to all guests dining in the restaurants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Promote Cache Creek Casino Resort in a positive manner.

Practice all sequence of service standards correctly.

Operate the Point of Sale System according to training provided.

Practice approved Guest Service Skills.

Practice all Sanitation Standards.

Practice all "Tips" alcohol awareness policies and procedures.

Utilize "upselling" techniques.

Participate in all company approved training classes.

Know and understand the restaurant menus.

Practice safety training at all times.

Participate in departmental cross-training excercises to learn shoulder job duties such as Hostess or Bus Person.

Education and/or Experience
One year experience in an ala carte dining restaurant featuring alcoholic beverages and full service; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
