Downstream Casino Hotel Resort is a Las Vegas-style, destination resort located approximately 7 miles west of the city of Joplin, Mo. The resort is owned and operated by the Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma. Projected opening of Phase One - almost 1,000,000 square feet, with a casino, hotel, restaurants, golf and shopping - is July 2008.

The resort will include a 70,000-square-foot casino floor with over 2,000 slot machines, 30 table games and 15 poker tables, as well as a hotel with 226 rooms and luxury suites, a VIP lounge, retail shopping, valet parking and an array of amenities.

Guests can dine in five restaurants - a 250-seat buffet, a 110-seat upscale steakhouse, a 24-hour café, food court and a sports bar and entertainment venue. A conference center offers meeting rooms and catering services.

Recreational activities include two 18-hole golf courses and an outdoor swimming pool. A fitness center, spa and salon will be added in Phase II.
