1. How do I know that you will keep my contact information confidential and will not sell it as a mailing list?
Your information will be maintained at the highest level of confidentiality. Unless a Corporation is a legitimate gaming corporation (or in a gaming related industry where they are seeking employees with gaming experience), we will not offer them a Membership. Furthermore, we will not sell our database to anyone.

3. What is the difference between an "Open Access" and a "Confidential" resume?
An Open Access resume enables prospective employers to view your
resume and your personal contact information. If you selected to
post your resume in the "Confidential" format, then your identifying
information will not be visible. Also, you will receive instructions
on how to input your resume so that it isn't as specific as the
Open Access format.

4. Can I send attachments to the staff of Casino Careers Online?
Please do Not send attachments to Casino Careers Online. We can only accommodate information that you input into the fields provided. Those fields are essential to the search mechanism. Other information will not result in a match submitted by the prospective employer.

9. Can I view my resume as employers will see it?
Yes. Once you have completed the last phase of data input, the system will automatically default to your resume web page and you will be able to see it exactly as a prospective employer will see it. You will then have the opportunity to edit it or save it.

and select "View Resume" from the Edit Menu and you will be able
to view it or make changes to it.

14. What do I do if I input my resume
and click "Save As Is" but, it doesn't go through?
Maybe your browser crashed midway, or maybe it just times out. In any case, this gets very frustrating. This problem can be caused by a number of problems. The most common are:
-
The browser you are using has some problems handling forms. You require at least Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 or Netscape 3.0.
-
If you are using WebTV, their browser currently cannot navigate our web site. We recommend you speak with their Tech Support to determine if any enhancements have been made which you can download.
-
If you have an AOL server, we suggest you contact AOL technical support at: (800) 827-3338.

15. What if I want to include a cover letter with my resume?
Since the Casino Careers database is a "search and match" function,
it does not capture cover letters. That would be something you
would send once a prospective employer has contacted you (this
would also enable you to personalize it for the position and company).
We cover this topic in our Career Advancement Tips page.

16. Who sees my resume/who has access to my resume?
Only Employers who are registered with Casino Careers Online can access your resume. Our database is maintained with the highest security to ensure the confidentiality of your information. Other resume candidates CANNOT access the resume database.

19. What if I want more information "screened" on
my resume for Confidential purposes?
Our system is designed to screen all identifying personal information. We cannot expand the screens on an individualized basis. Since you have control over the content of the fields in which you input information, we recommend that you select the information carefully.
We provide tips on completing your resume if you selected the "Confidential" format.

22. Why do I have to Update my resume every six months? What if I don't have any changes to make?
Our Employers want assurance that our database is comprised of resumes with current information. require maximum security.

our computer may
delete the resume. Resumes which are incomplete for over a week are deleted
by the computer. Also, resumes that have not been updated in over a year are
removed. (Even if you do not have new information to add to the resume,
just click on the "Update Resume" button at the bottom of your Edit Menu to
make the "Edit Date" current.)
